Cyrielle Raingou is a filmmaker passionate about the concept and development of an African culture, its promotion on the international scale, and the economic stakes it raises. She is one of the Berlinale Talent 2017. She has directed short films such as "stressed", "A la recherche du bonheur", "Sir Nature", "C’est pour bientôt" which won “le stylo d’or de l’espoir “ 2016 at the Yaounde short films Festival, "Challenge" selected in many festivals worldwide and recently “Les voisins”, screened at Short Corner 2018 at Cannes international film festival. She participated in the project “Connexions Citoyennes” launched by French agency of media cooperation in 2016. She gained that recognition through a project Limegbie, which trains rural women to make short documentary films (03min) about their lives and civic engagement. She is one of the Mandela Washington Fellow 2018. Under this program, she shot in Austin (Texas) her short film , about the « Anglophone crisis » in her country… Cyrielle Raingou has a master's degree in Private Law from the University of Yaoundé 2 and a master’s degree in Cinematographic and Audiovisual Production at the University of Yaoundé 1.
